Taman Ayun Temple : this Temple is one of the iconic temple in Bali. It’s a Perfect Spot for Sightseeing and Photography.
Taman Ayun means ” a Beautiful Garden.” 2012 ( officially) Taman Ayun announced as part UNESCO World Heritage site . Taman Ayun Temple is located in Mengwi, Badung Regency.
In the 17th century, the Mengwi Kingdom (I Gusti Agung Putu, the first king of the Mengwi Kingdom) built this temple as their royal place of worship. Today, the 100 x 250 meter complex still stands as a symbol of Bali’s royal heritage.
To make Taman Ayun Temple more attractive for tourist, a small theatre has been added inside the complex where you can learn about its history and Balinese culture.
We’ll spend around one hour exploring the Taman Ayun Temple before stopping for lunch and a short break. Once we finish, we’ll continue our journey to the beautiful Tanah Lot Temple.
